Job Description
- Provide guest services for guests of the restaurant. - Receive cash or credit card from customers in payment for goods or services. - Computes bill on P.O.S. System or adding machine, makes change, and issues receipt. - May be required to know value of menu items. - May give cash refunds or credit memorandums as directed by Supervisor/Manager. - Greets and seats patrons. - Coordinates and controls the flow of the Restaurant. - Assigns stations to servers and bus persons. - Supervises the restaurant during the absence of the Restaurant Supervisor/Manager. - Interacts between Service Staff and Patrons when difficult situations arise. - Ensures that Service Quality and Standards are followed. - Answer telephone in a professional manner.
