What You'll Do
As a key member of the Enovis Global leadership team reporting directly to the Chief Administrative Officer, you will play a critical role in the company’s transformation from a collection of fiercely independent business units to “One Enovis.” You will be the executive leader responsible for designing, building, and operating world-class global shared services that deliver simplicity, efficiency, and measurable cost savings while supporting scalable growth. This is a high-impact opportunity to turn shared services into a true strategic advantage — driving profitability, capital efficiency, and operational excellence across the enterprise.
Job Title/High Level Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and strategic Vice President, Global Business Services to lead our global shared services organization. This executive will partner closely with the CAO and business unit leaders to create a unified, high-performing shared services model that supports our diverse portfolio of medical technology businesses. The ideal candidate is a transformation leader with a proven track record of standing up and optimizing global shared services, executing complex site start-ups, and continuously delivering significant, sustained cost savings in complex, global, multi-business-unit environments over an extended period.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Global Shared Services Strategy & Alignment: Develop and execute a cohesive enterprise strategy for global business services that aligns with the “One Enovis” vision, corporate objectives, and the drive for more profitable, capital-efficient growth. Foster shared resources and integrated operations across all business units and geographies.
• Site Start-Up Leadership: Own the end-to-end strategy, planning, and execution of global site start-ups, ensuring facilities are launched on time, on budget, and fully integrated into the One Enovis operating model with standardized processes and systems. Be comfortable with an initial “lift and shift” approach to replicate exactly how work and service levels get currently done; once the transition stabilizes, begin process and cost optimization; and ultimately embrace total process reengineering by leveraging AI, machine learning, and other advanced techniques to drive both effectiveness and efficiency.
• Shared Services Harmonization & Excellence: Build and mature shared services functions (including but not limited to finance operations, HR operations, procurement, facilities management, IT, QA, and other back-office processes) to create consistency, eliminate redundancy, and drive operational efficiency across the enterprise. Develop a performance-based shared service corporate culture to flexibly exceed present and future business demands. Hone global shared services into a competitive weapon.
• Savings Delivery & Value-Driven Prioritization: Establish rigorous savings targets, track performance, and ensure committed cost savings and efficiency gains are achieved and sustained. Evaluate and implement efficiency gains with automation and AI tools. Lead the shared services intake and prioritization process to focus capacity on the highest-value initiatives for the business.
• Process Governance & Standardization: Promote enterprise-wide standards, governance, and best-practice processes for all shared services to enable transparency, comparability, and scalability while maintaining the flexibility required by individual business units.
• M&A Integration & Scalability: Refine and execute the shared services component of the M&A integration playbook to rapidly onboard acquisitions, capture synergies, and integrate them seamlessly into the global shared services network.
• Organizational Change & Cultural Alignment: Navigate complex organizational change and build cultural acceptance of standardized shared services processes among global teams and business leaders who may hold divergent viewpoints. Drive collaboration and alignment on common objectives across the enterprise.
Essential Requirements:
• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in global shared services, business transformation, or operations excellence, with at least 5 years in a senior executive role leading large-scale shared services organizations.
• Demonstrated success leading global site start-ups, large-scale process harmonization, and enterprise-wide cost savings programs within complex, multi-business-unit corporate structures.
• Proven experience leading global shared services and operations across multiple regions, including North America (US), Europe (Portugal), Asia (India), and/or Latin America (Costa Rica).
• Proven ability to deliver significant, measurable cost savings and efficiency gains while supporting the unique requirements of individual business units and maintaining enterprise-wide consistency.
• Strong track record of creating alignment on strategy, direction, and priorities among senior leaders with divergent viewpoints.
• Deep expertise in building and governing shared services models, including robust performance metrics, governance frameworks, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience in a regulated industry (medical technology, healthcare services, or manufacturing preferred) with a strong understanding of global operations, compliance, and risk management.
• Exceptional change leadership skills and the ability to foster a high-performance, customer-focused culture that supports the “One Enovis” transformation.
• Willing to be based out of Lewisville, Tx (Dallas metro area) and travel extensively internationally.
