EXECUTIVE NEWS PRODUCER - WXIX

WXIX FOX19 has an exciting opportunity for an Executive Producer to lead our evening team to produce engaging, compelling, and impactful newscasts. Our EP works closely with news & station managers to achieve strategic content & ratings goals. In addition, the successful candidate will exercise strong news judgment, review newscast rundowns, and approve scripts with an eye towards accuracy and promotable content. You will collaborate with producers on rundowns, story selection, showcasing, formats, graphic elements, and pace and flow of newscasts. You will work with multimedia reporters/photographers to determine the direction of stories. You will occasionally fill in line produce for newscasts during vacation periods or illness.
