Job Description
Job Title: Painter - Paper Hanger
Employment Type: Full-Time 40 hours per week
Shift: Days
Location: Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital
As a Painter - Paper Hanger you will:
Paints and redecorates walls, woodwork, furniture, metal surfaces, fixtures and other items.
Scrapes, brushes or burns-off old paint and varnishes.
fills holes, cracks and openings with putty or other filler.
Mixes colors, oils and other paint ingredients to obtain proper color and consistency or thins ready-mixed paints.
Applies paints and finishes with brushes, rollers, spray equipment or rags.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school graduate and/or vocational training.
Proficiency in blending paints and use of scaffolding.
Minimum of five (5) year experience and currently working in the trade.
