PRIMARY FUNCTION
The Human Resources Associate assists with the administration of day-to-day operations of the human resources department's functions and duties. The HR Associate carries out responsibilities in some or all of the following functional areas: recruiting, onboarding, and general human resources operations and support. employee services, personnel record management, onboarding, credentialing/privileging.

PRIMARY FUNCTION
The Human Resources Associate assists with the administration of day-to-day operations of the human resources department's functions and duties. The HR Associate carries out responsibilities in some or all of the following functional areas: recruiting, onboarding, and general human resources operations and support. employee services, personnel record management, onboarding, credentialing/privileging.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Manage logistics and facilitate recruitment for clinical support and clerical support staff roles.
- Interface with managers to understand staffing, scheduling, and hiring needs
- Post requisitions for available staff positions.
- Enhance employer branding through job postings, social media, and outreach efforts.
- Review applications daily and maintain applicant tracking system, ensuring data accuracy.
- Screen resumes, identify likely candidates, and schedule and conduct phone screens.
- Assist with scheduling and conducting candidate interview.
- Attend job fairs related to staff positions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with talent pipelines, local training programs and educational institutions.
- Provide superior customer service to candidates, vendors, community partners, external customers. Serve as an ambassador of the White House Clinics in all conversations and interactions with these parties.
Human Resources
- Collect documentation and complete onboarding activities for new hires.
- Provide support to complete and maintain credentialing and privileging processes.
- Assist with Orientation duties as needed
- Support benefit administration serve as a primary contact for employee services.
- Aid in personnel record management and maintenance.
- Assist with employee wellness initiatives.
- Conduct onboarding surveys and manage collected survey data
- Analyze survey responses and present information to HR supervisors monthly.
- Provide superior customer service to co-workers.
- Assist with other duties or in other departments as instructed by supervisor.
ACCOUNTABILITY
Reports to the Human Resources Manager and Human Resources Director.

TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS
Work is performed in office environment and involves frequent contact with staff and the public. Position may involve dealing with angry or upset people. Infrequent evening and/or weekend work may be required. Work may be stressful at times.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Position will require occasional travel to career and hiring events, training institutions, and between clinics.
WORK HOURS
37.5 hours per week, subject to wage and hour laws.
SALARY
Starting at $15.04 per hour, based on experience.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Education: High School Diploma
Minimum Experience: 1 year of prior office experience. Candidates with Human Resources experience preferred.
Required License: Valid Kentucky Drivers License. Certification from a Human Resources (SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar) preferred.
Qualifications
Successful applicants will be mature and well organized with pleasant personality, professional appearance, and warm, friendly demeanor. Prior knowledge of office procedures, recruitment best practices, and basic computer skills (Microsoft Windows and Excel) is expected. Candidates must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and be adept at critical thinking and problem solving. Critical to the position is the ability to practice a high level of confidentiality, successfully multi-task, and be proficient in time management and organization. Proficiency in Human Resources Information Systems and/or Applicant Tracking Systems is desired.
Reports to the Human Resources Manager and Human Resources Director.
