Accounting officer
Job Description
The Accounting Officer is part of a team which administers the efficient and effective operation of all financial aspects of NH Collection development, sales and marketing operations. The focus of this role is to handle the day to day processing of procurement transactions (purchases of goods and services) from suppliers and expenses claims from employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for conducting Operating Equipment (OE) inventory counts on a quarterly basic and performing asset verifications. Also accountable for preparing monthly summary reports to ensure compliance and provide necessary documentation in support of internal and external audits.
- Support to the Purchasing Department
- Daily GCR Report
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience in accounting, inventory control, or asset management (experience in the hotel industry is an advantage).
Knowledge of inventory management processes, accounting standards, and relevant tax regulations.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting or inventory management software.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and accuracy in data recording.
Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
Able to perform regular inventory counts, asset verifications, and prepare compliance reports under tight deadlines.
