Job Description
What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health
Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers.
Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 7:00am to 5:30pm
Responsibilities
- Cross-trained in multiple warehouse operations areas and supported special projects as required.
- Served as a primary Supply and Component Runner, ensuring timely delivery, replenishment, and movement of materials, components, and production supplies to support operational efficiency and continuous workflow.
- Downstacked completed order lines onto pallets and prepared shipments for handoff to FedEx, ensuring accuracy, organization, and compliance with shipping requirements.
- Maintained housekeeping standards, performed inventory control activities, and ensured a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Trained and certified to operate various material handling equipment, including order pickers (cherry pickers), forklifts, reach trucks, turret trucks, pallet jacks, and walkie riders, while adhering to all safety procedures.
- Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability by supporting multiple warehouse functions and responding effectively to changing operational priorities.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED required
- Good written communication skills
- 1-2 years experience
- Proficient in Microsoft office preferred

Anticipated hourly range: $20.00 per hour - $20.60 per hour based on experience (includes shift differential)
