
Senior Service Design & Transition Analyst
Job Description
Reporting to the Head of Service Design & Transition, you will lead the structured delivery of Service Design and Transition activities for new or changed services across the UK&I. You will ensure supportability, commercial readiness, operational suitability, and a smooth handover into Service Operations.
What you'll do:
- Ensure new and modified services meet business needs and transition them successfully into operational use.
- Be main ITSM contact for sales teams during client bids, coordinating commercial service design inputs.
- Manage stage‑gate approvals and present changes at relevant Service Design & Transition Boards.
- Create all Design & Transition documentation to ensure operational teams are ready and informed.
- Assess early service performance in ELS/production and capture improvements and lessons learned.
- Work with architecture, strategy, and operations teams to validate designs, transition plans, and service readiness.
- Identify and manage risks, escalating to ITSM and Risk teams.
- Ensure compliance with Experian policies and regulatory requirements (security, data compliance, FCA).
- Support a world‑class customer experience throughout the contracting, design, and transition phases.
- Follow Experian best practices, considering tools, third parties, performance targets, and service measures.
- Maintain documentation and evidence of discussions, approvals, and decisions.
- Monitor KPIs across the Service Design & Transition lifecycle, driving improvements and Service level agreement alignment.
- Promote processes and identify opportunities to streamline ways of working.
What you'll bring:
- 5+ years experience in Service Design and Service Transition within a large corporate or enterprise environment.
- Experience of working with multiple stakeholders across multiple teams or departments
- Experience identifying and delivering continual improvement initiatives
- Experience communicating with technical teams and describe technical issues to non-technical people at all levels of seniority
