Overview We are looking for a Sr Manager/ Assistant Director - Content & Creative Strategy who can bridge the worlds of communications planning, content strategy, culture, and creativity. This role is ideal for someone who understands how consumers engage with media and content today and can translate audience insights into integrated communication ideas that drive business outcomes. As part of our Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) team, you will work across brand, media, content, partnerships, and emerging platforms to develop communication ecosystems that are culturally relevant, creatively compelling, and commercially effective. While being a part of the content team you will partner closely with media planners, strategists, creatives, specialists, and client teams to shape campaigns that go beyond paid media and create meaningful consumer engagement. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Communications Planning & Audience Strategy · Develop integrated communication strategies rooted in consumer insights, category understanding, and business objectives. · Build audience-first content and communication frameworks that identify the role of paid, owned, earned, content · Map consumer journeys and identify opportunities to engage audiences across key touchpoints. · Translate media, audience, and cultural insights into actionable communication strategies. Content Strategy & Ecosystem Planning · Develop content ecosystems that support brand, campaign, and business objectives. · Define content territories, messaging frameworks, editorial approaches, and content pillars. · Create always-on and campaign-specific content strategies across social, creator, digital, experiential, and partnership channels. · Identify opportunities for brands to participate meaningfully in culture, conversations, and communities. Creative & Cultural Strategy · Monitor emerging cultural trends, platform shifts, creator movements, and consumer behaviors. · Translate trends and cultural insights into strategic opportunities for brands. · Develop creative territories and communication ideas that can scale across channels and formats. · Support creative briefing and collaborate with creative teams to ensure strategic integrity throughout execution. Strategic Planning & Thought Leadership · Lead strategic workstreams on key client businesses. · Contribute to annual planning, campaign development, and new business pitches. · Contribute to drive creative excellence for the agency and its brands to deliver work that has potential to win across global and local forums Measurement & Optimization · Define success metrics for content and communication initiatives. · Analyze campaign performance and derive actionable learnings. · Continuously refine content and communication strategies based on consumer and business outcomes. Qualifications Experience & Qualifications · 4–7 years of experience in communications planning, content strategy, creative strategy, social strategy, brand planning, or integrated marketing. · Experience within a media agency, creative agency, digital agency, consulting firm etc on comms/creative strategy · Demonstrated experience developing integrated campaigns and content ecosystems. · Strong understanding of digital platforms, creator marketing, and contemporary media consumption behaviors. · Experience working across multiple categories and brands is preferred. · Post Graduate/Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Media or related fields
