Job Description

At IAG, we’re ready for you. We're the largest general insurance group in Australia and New Zealand. Our family of brands turns the IAG purpose of making your world a safer place into action by helping everyday Aussies and New Zealanders, supporting their ambitions and making insurance accessible.

Shape how knowledge drives smarter decisions across one of Australia’s largest claims operations.

This is a unique opportunity to step into a role that blends structure with impact. As the Knowledge Article Specialist, you’ll manage and evolve a critical knowledge library while working closely with the business to improve processes, reduce risk, and ensure teams have access to accurate, usable information. Sitting at the intersection of operations, risk, and continuous improvement, this role goes beyond maintenance — it’s about turning knowledge into a powerful driver of better outcomes.

This is a 12-months fixed term opportunity role based in multiple locations across Australia.

What You'll Do

  • Manage and maintain a large digital knowledge library, ensuring content is accurate, up to date, and regularly reviewed across multiple claims functions.
  • Coordinate end-to-end review cycles, partnering with stakeholders to validate, update, and embed process and system changes.
  • Apply a risk and business lens to knowledge content, identifying gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities to strengthen controls and processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement by simplifying workflows and reducing manual effort in knowledge management practices.
  • Partner with claims, operations, and project teams to roll out improvements and ensure knowledge is effectively adopted.
  • Collaborate with a broad stakeholder network, including operational leaders and regulatory specialists, to support compliance and business outcomes.

What You'll Bring

  • Experience in operations, knowledge management, business analysis, or process improvement within a complex environment.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage structured, repeatable tasks accurately and consistently.
  • A continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities to simplify processes and reduce risk.
  • Proven stakeholder engagement skills, with the confidence to work across teams and influence outcomes.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills to balance cyclical workloads and evolving priorities.
  • Curiosity and adaptability, with a willingness to learn systems, processes, and regulatory requirements.

What We Offer

  • Boosted superannuation with 13% as standard.
  • 20 days annual leave + 5 days MyLeave (extra leave for what’s important to you).
  • Work from home and many more flexibility options with myFlex.
  • Up to 50% off personal insurance, including home and motor insurance.
  • Partner discounts on private health insurance, tech & appliances, and many more.
  • Industry-leading 20 weeks paid parental leave.
  • Access to LinkedIn Learning, the award-winning IAG Academy, study assistance and secondment opportunities.
