Program Analyst – J6 Business Administration Office (BAO)Location: MacDill AFB, Tampa, FL - Position is 100% Onsite
Position Overview
We are seeking a Program Analyst (PA) to support the U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) J6 Business Administration Office (BAO) at MacDill AFB. This position is ideal for a highly organized, proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys supporting mission-critical programs. The successful candidate will possess strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills and be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Primary Responsibilities
Utilize web-based portals and tools to manage, track, and organize programs supporting the J6 BAO.
Support J6 BAO administration efforts, including training coordination, Task Management Tool (TMT) taskers, and policy implementation tracking.
Monitor compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
Demonstrate effective communication, customer service, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
Quickly learn and integrate into the USSOCOM mission and organizational culture.
Additional Responsibilities
Support various J6 BAO initiatives and special projects as assigned.
Collaborate with government personnel and stakeholders to accomplish assigned tasks.
Assist with the development, review, and maintenance of policy and administrative documentation.
Generate reports and assist in analyzing organizational performance against established standards.
Prepare briefings, training materials, and operating procedure documentation.
Develop reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to support leadership decision-making.
Monitor project schedules, identify gaps, and track potential risks or issues.
Maintain issue-tracking logs and coordinate follow-up actions with responsible parties.
Provide planning support, including scheduling, budgeting, and performance monitoring activities.
Gather and analyze data to produce recurring program status reports.
Process travel requests and expense reports in a timely and accurate manner.
Manage incoming correspondence and ensure appropriate routing and distribution.
Coordinate travel arrangements in collaboration with the Travel Coordinator.
Organize meetings, events, and virtual sessions, including agenda development and meeting documentation.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum of eight (8) years of relevant professional experience; an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Clearance Requirement
Active TS/SCI security clearance required.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience using web-based portals and document management systems.
Interest in program management, project scheduling, and performance tracking.
Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
