Responsibilities:

  • Perform calibrations safely, accurately and in a timely manner. 
  • Input and maintain calibration records for all measuring equipment, whether performed-in-house or by external contractors. 
  • Develop and update instructions for calibrating new and existing measuring equipment. 
  • Obtain necessary approvals for instructions and maintain current revisions.
  • Coordinate calibration activities with external laboratories and suppliers.
  • Follow all relevant Test Procedures (TP) and plant calibration procedures.
  • Notify supervisors and equipment users of any out-of-tolerance or overdue calibrations.
  • Label measuring equipment according to calibration procedures.
  • Train calibration personnel based on relevant Test Procedures (TP).
  • Represent the calibration team in discussions and activities related to calibration.
  • Lead or participate in improvement projects related to calibration.
  • Escalate calibration issues promptly to the Calibration Engineer.
  • Support QA Engineer during audits (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO45001, AS9100D, and customer audits) related to Calibration Systems.

Requirements: 

  • 'O' Level, NITEC or equavalent. 
  • Min 5 years calbration experience. 
  • Good oral and written communication.
  • Knowledge in ISO/IEC 17025.
  • Farmiliarity with ISO 9001 and AS9100 (beneficial).
  • Experience in performing on-site calibration of measuring equipment in a optical and mechanical, non-cleanroom and cleanroom environment.
  • Discipline & Procedure Adherence: Absolute compliance with strict SOPs, meticulous documentation, adaptability, and effective communication to report calibration technical data.
  • Detail-oriented Calibration Technician specializing in precision measurement within ISO 17025 compliant laboratories, ISO Class 7 cleanrooms, and ESD-safe electronics production environments (preferred).
