Regional Property Management Officer

SECU*RE is a property management company that is fully owned by SECU.  Its mission is to acquire, renovate, and rent SECU Real Estate Owned assets.  The Regional PMO position will assist in the transfer review, rental process, tenant repairs, and other duties needed to support the mission of the organization.

Responsibilities include:

-Inspect recently vacated properties to identify repairs and renovations needed to return the property to marketable condition.    

-Assist with marketing efforts to advertise available rental properties, conduct property tours, monitor showing feedback, and provide recommendations related to rental and sales pricing.

- Assist with annual rent renewals for assigned properties.

- Process rental applications and screen prospective tenants to ensure compliance with SECU*RE’s Tenant Selection Policy.    

- Review annual property inspections and coordinate repair/maintenance tasks with approved vendors.

- Manage tenant repair requests to ensure compliance with Fair Housing and SECU*RE rental policies.

External and Vendor Relationships:

- General contractors, home inspectors, appraisers, home repair vendors, municipalities responsible for permit requests, tenants.

Required Education:

-Associate's Degree in Business or Construction Administration

-3-5 years of relevant experience can be considered in lieu of degree

Desired Experience, Knowledge, Abilities, Skills:

-Familiarity with residential property management, strong organizational and analytical skills, skilled in written and verbal communication

Special Position Requirements:

-Sitting for prolonged periods

-Driving for prolonged periods

-Ability to travel throughout the state as needed

-Walking for prolonged periods

-Carrying up to 25 pounds

-Lift up to 25 pounds

-Push/pull up to 25 pounds

-Computer for prolonged periods

-Telephone for prolonged periods
