Job Description:

The Brazil Performance Reporting & Forecasting (PR&F) Analyst supports the Brazil PR&F Manager in all planning, forecasting, performance reporting, risk management, and business analysis activities for the Brazil Operating Unit (OU). This role identifies key issues and action items for the OU Leadership Team (LT), ensures robust forecasting processes, and provides high‑quality financial insights. The analyst works closely with the OU Controller and interacts regularly with LT members, functional teams, and the wider PR&F and FC&A organizations, including the Wayne‑based PR&F team. This position is based in Santa Fe, Mexico City, operating under a hybrid model (3 days in office, 2 days remote).

Key Accountabilities

Plans

  • Support the PR&F Manager in fulfilling reporting requirements under the annual 5‑Year Strategic Planning Model and bottom‑up annual plan cycles.

  • Work closely with Brazil Market Space Managers and the Sales Manager to support development of the annual Plan and monthly actuals reporting.

Performance Reporting & Forecasting

  • Support the PR&F Manager in ensuring a robust Group Forecast Outlook (GFO) and forecasting process for Brazil, including timely reporting and analysis that fully reflects business risks.

  • Address follow‑up queries from the Regional PR&F team.

  • Coordinate with the Supply Chain team to ensure alignment and connectivity between OU and Supply Chain GFOs.

  • Through monthly results review, support the PR&F Manager, Controller, and OU Manager in strengthening integration and connectivity across the Brazil LT.

  • Ensure appropriate criteria are applied for provisions calculation.

  • Coordinate monthly closing and reporting processes with Finance colleagues and BSC in BA or equivalent experience. Provide monthly and quarterly analyses as required.

  • Support the PR&F Manager, Controller, and OU Manager in embedding a performance management and continuous improvement culture using critical metrics, tailored reports, and other tools.

  • Support Marketing reporting requirements, ensuring data consistency with GFO / Plan / Actuals.

  • Monitor advertising expenditure vs. budget and ensure trade loans are properly evaluated and approved per policy.

  • Handle ad‑hoc internal and external data requests, including those from Wayne.

  • Support cash forecasting processes, improving accuracy and identifying Working Capital opportunities.

  • Ensure timely and qualitative performance reporting and related services for ILS, Energy, and Marine; address all data queries.

  • Support preparation and completion of annual Brazil targets, working with the Brazil LT to capture input and secure alignment on financial and non‑financial targets.

  • Build competencies to act as a center of expertise for PR&F topics and serve as point of contact for Regional and OU data requests.

  • Support financial integrity of JDE, FBW, and SAPBPC modules and related systems, ensuring accurate reporting and system consistency.

  • Liaise with other BP business divisions, regional finance functions, and BSC, providing support and training as needed.

  • Support optimization and review of JDE financial modules by correcting faults, defining workarounds, updating documentation, manipulating data, or recommending enhancements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Corporate Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related analytical field. MBA is a plus.

  • 3–4 years of experience in Finance, Control & Accounting roles (required).

  • Ideally, understanding of the lubricants business and performance management concepts.

  • Excel proficiency (required).

  • Experience in forecasting, planning, or similar analytical processes (required).

  • Portuguese (basic level; written and spoken).

  • English proficiency (written and spoken).

  • Interest in learning Portuguese.

  • Ability to meet month‑end close and other deadlines.

  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • High attention to detail and strong organizational field.

  • Team‑player attitude with ability to interact at all levels.

  • Bias for action supported by strong work ethic and proven valuable contributions.

Work Location & Shift Pattern

  • Santa Fe, CDMX
  • Schedule: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
  • Hybrid model: 2 days remote, 3 days onsite
