GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

This position is essential for ensuring the safe and efficient handling of Club Car's pre-owned cars, trailers, and equipment within the yard.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Using large equipment (tow truck, trailers, personal transport vehicles) and driving pre-owned cars. Loads and unloads trucks, locates, tags, and stages preowned inventory, locates and picks material into/out of warehouse racks, between locations, and delivers to supported service shop and CPO line.
• Safely operates assigned equipment. Ensures that all equipment in use has been inspected and is in safe operating condition. Reports all accidents and unsafe conditions to the supervisor.
• Determines accurate material quantities by hand counting, use of counting scales, and use of vendor labels on sealed containers.
• Uses barcode computers to receive material into inventory, move material by quantity between designated locations, and locate/pick material to/from warehouse locations as required. Ensures accurate part number, quantity, and other data field entries that impact electronic records of receipts, inventories, and location; Resolves discrepancies with material quantities and part numbers.
• Locates vehicles in the yard to safely and efficiently move to service shop and CPO line.
• Locates parts, ensuring that pallets are stable, observing pallet heights, material, racking, and equipment are not damaged, and material is not left in aisles.
• Consolidates parts by part number within the warehouse as directed.
• Collaborates with warehouse staff to coordinate loading schedules and ensure timely deliveries.
• Complies with domestic and international shipping requirements to include laws, rates, and paperwork requirements for parcel shipments.
• Utilizes computer equipment for data entry, data retrieval, and analysis of data to solve work-related problems, as well as communicate with other associates.
• Stages parts from supermarkets into bins and carts per a pull report or other instructions and delivers carts to the point of use.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintains a safe and productive work environment by ensuring the work area is clear of items that may present a hazard.
• Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
• Must be able to work overtime as necessary.
