Director, Program Underwriting & Portfolio Management

We are seeking a carrier‑side underwriting leader responsible for the management, performance, and governance of delegated authority personal lines portfolios, primarily renters / HO‑4 and tenant liability programs written through MGAs and MGUs.   This role does not underwrite individual risks. Instead, it owns portfolio‑level underwriting results, MGA performance oversight, pricing and loss ratio management, and coordination with actuarial, claims, and partner MGAs to ensure profitable, compliant growth.
