Job Description

Our client is seeking a dependable, proactive, and nurturing live-in nanny/family assistant who brings a calm structure into the home. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both hands-on childcare and behind-the-scenes household organization.

 

Responsibilities

  • Help create a calm, organized start to the day for the children. Prepare breakfast and pack snacks
  • Pick up children from school and ensure smooth transitions home
  • Assist with homework, reading, and school-related activities
  • Transport children to activities and playdates as scheduled
  • Light tidying and daily household resets
  • Manage family calendars, appointments, and schedules
  • Coordinate household vendors and services
  • Handle household logistics and administrative tasks
  • Run errands as needed
  • Create and maintain systems that keep the household running smoothly
  • Assist with dinner preparation and light kitchen tasks
  • Communicate daily updates and important information to parents
  • Provide occasional weekend care with advance notice

Requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle if live-out
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Background check and references required
