Depositary/ Fiduciary Services, Senior Associate
Job Description
Who we are looking for
We are looking for a suitable candidate to join the Client Reporting Team within Depositary Oversight. Reporting to an Officer, this role offers exposure to all areas of Depositary Oversight, with a particular focus on the preparation, oversight, and review of client reporting.
Why this role is important to us
Depositary Oversight plays an important role in supporting investor protection by helping to ensure that funds are operated in line with applicable regulatory requirements, constitutional documents, and client expectations. The Client Reporting Team supports this through the preparation and review of clear, accurate, and timely reporting for clients, fund boards, and other stakeholders.
This role is important because the quality of our reporting helps evidence the work carried out by the Depositary function, supports effective oversight, and contributes to strong client service. By joining the team, you will help deliver reliable reporting outputs, support regulatory obligations, and contribute to the long-standing client relationships we build through consistent, high-quality delivery.
What you will be responsible for
As a member of the Depositary Client Reporting Team, you will:
- Prepare, oversee, and review client reporting, including monthly and quarterly client reports.
- Complete other required reviews, including CPT letters and financial statement reviews, in line with procedures and regulatory obligations.
- Deliver client reporting to a high standard and within agreed targets on an ongoing basis.
- Liaise with clients, company secretaries, and internal stakeholders as required, ensuring clear communication and strong client service.
- Support the supervision of team members in their review of funds to ensure compliance with investment restrictions.
- Ensure timely and proper completion of tasks assigned to team members.
- Review and comment on draft prospectuses and financial statements.
- Devise work programmes and schedules to support effective delivery of reporting obligations.
- Respond to client queries in accordance with departmental requirements.
What we value
These skills will help you succeed in this role:
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Skilled communicator, both verbal and written.
- Organized and methodical approach to work.
- Collaborative team player.
Education & Preferred Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent qualification.
- Relevant industry experience, not necessarily within a trustee or depositary role.
- A good understanding of the regulatory framework for funds, including UCITS, Non-UCITS, and AIFMD, would be an advantage but is not required.
- Ability to motivate and encourage staff reporting to them to work at optimum levels.
- Ability to recognize and target areas for increased efficiencies.
- Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills.
Additional requirements
The role requires a dependable, organized, and quality-focused approach, with the ability to work independently, support team delivery, and contribute to the ongoing improvement of client reporting processes.
Work Requirement
Hybrid working model applies, with a requirement to work from the office four days per week.
Standard business hours apply, subject to business and reporting deadline requirements.
