Job Summary

Iron Mountain is seeking a detail-oriented Contract Renewal & Pricing Specialist to serve as a vital gatekeeper for contractual and pricing integrity. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that every renewal—from simple term extensions to complex pricing overhauls—is documented accurately and reflected correctly in our billing systems.

You will act as a strategic analyst, reconciling historical contract data with new pricing models to prevent revenue leakage and customer disputes. The ideal candidate possesses technical courage, solid contract management skills, and the ability to ensure that the "zero-error billing" standard is met before final documentation is uploaded into DRCi.

What You’ll Do

Contract Lifecycle & Renewal Execution

  • End-to-End Management: Oversee the renewal process for existing accounts, ensuring the seamless extension of agreements and accurate documentation of modified terms.

  • Strategic Renewal Execution: Differentiate between and execute diverse renewal types, including:

    • Contract Renewals: Updating legal terms without pricing adjustments.

    • Pricing Renewals: Managing Rate Table and Exception Rate ID (ERID) updates and customer notifications.

    • Hybrid Renewals: Manually updating both contractual and pricing data within Safekeeper Plus (SKP).

  • Audit & Validation: Audit signed contracts, Schedule A's, and PA models for accuracy before system entry to ensure 100% alignment between the signed agreement and the billing system.

Queue & Revenue Management

  • Rate Update Ownership: Act as the central point of contact for the Rate Update queue, processing requests for new service lines, fee waivers (Admin/Storage Minimums), and account reinstatements.

  • Revenue Integrity: Proactively resolve misaligned pricing to prevent billing discrepancies and remove QPIs (Quick Price Increases) where applicable.

  • System Archival: Complete the setup and renewal lifecycle by ensuring all verified documents are successfully uploaded into the DRCi repository.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Internal Partnership: Collaborate with Sales, Legal, and Billing departments to validate and route signed amendments for system updates.

  • Expertise Distribution: Work effectively within the team to share industry and company knowledge, ensuring consistent quality standards across the department.

Technical Skills & Qualifications

  • Contractual Mastery: Solid contract management skills with the ability to research and action customer inquiries on a complex contract basis.

  • Data Precision: High-speed keyboarding skills with a focus on speed and accuracy of data input.

  • Software Proficiency: Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel; experience with Safekeeper Plus (SKP), Salesforce, or other ERP systems is a significant advantage.

  • Audit Mindset: The ability to execute transactions per prescribed guidelines and timelines to meet strict SLAs and quality standards.

  • Revenue Retention: Successful identification and resolution of misaligned pricing to prevent revenue leakage.

  • Audit Compliance: Ensuring all documents are correctly archived in DRCi following every transaction.
