Do you want to discover together what is possible? Do you see improvement potential in a complex supply chain rather than chaos? And do you get energy from leading projects that make the chain measurably smarter, faster, and more reliable? Then start as a Logistic Engineer at NTS Eindhoven and let's make it possible together!
Job Description
As a Senior Logistics Engineer at NTS Eindhoven within our Mechatronics Assembly business unit, you are the driving force behind improving the total supply chain. You work in a high-quality manufacturing environment that serves the most demanding markets in the world, including the semiconductor industry, where reliability and lead time make the difference. You translate the logistics policy into concrete process and efficiency specifications and ensure that improvements are structurally embedded. In addition, you look beyond our own walls: you analyze disruptions in the chain, identify the root cause, and make well-founded improvement proposals to our suppliers and customers.
In this senior role, you take improvement projects to a higher level and act as a project leader. You control costs and lead time, ensure that demand and supply are aligned, and advise management on the coherence of the chain, both when requested and unsolicited. This way, you provide direction to a supply chain that continues to improve. This role is also an excellent stepping stone within the NTS organization.
Your responsibilities also include:
You develop the logistics policy and translate it into concrete process and efficiency specifications within the supply chain;
You take improvement projects to a higher level and act as a project leader for the embedding of changes in the chain;
You investigate recurring disruptions, identify the root cause, and ensure structural improvements;
You ensure that demand and supply of the required materials are aligned, both in the short and (medium) long term;
You develop quality indicators (KPIs) and dashboards to keep control of costs and lead time;
You drive improvements with suppliers and guide both customer and supplier audits;
You advise management on internal and external improvements and train colleagues in the use of supply chain tools.
Requirements
We are looking for an experienced supply chain professional with the following background:
A completed HBO or WO degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Technical Business Administration, or a similar study;
Extensive, demonstrable experience in a logistics or supply chain engineering role, preferably within a high-tech or complex manufacturing environment;
Experience in leading improvement projects and in process optimization, for example, through Lean or Six Sigma;
Strong analytical skills and experience in setting up KPIs, dashboards, and management reports;
You effortlessly draw conclusions from data and know how to translate them into clear and concise insights and presentations;
Strong communication and relationship management skills, enabling you to get things done both internally (with the various NTS departments) and externally (with customers and suppliers);
Proficiency in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
Your benefits
At NTS, we combine our passion for technology with innovative solutions for complex challenges.
You will have the freedom and trust to fully utilize and develop your talents in a dynamic and energetic environment. We invest in both technology and you as a future colleague!
With this challenge, we offer the following benefits:
Salary ranging from €5,500.00 to €7,000.00 gross per month, depending on experience and qualifications;
Over 40 days off: 27 vacation days and 13 ADV days with a full-time position;
