[What the role is]
Overall Job Purpose:Responsible for the proper recording and accounting of all SGC fixed assets (FA), project costs and inventory to facilitate proper cost control and monitoring
[What you will be working on]
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensure timely recording of purchased assets
- Ensure proper capitalization of WIP upon completion
- Perform asset verification/tagging, including IT assets with proper documentations
- Review inventorised assets listing
- Plan and review yearly stocktake
- Review stock count sheet and stock take reports
- Review and ensure timely payments
- Ensure timely GST and intercompany reconciliation
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliation
- Update of policies/SOPs
- Ensure process efficiency, identify and implement areas for improvements
- Participate in new system or process implementation
[What we are looking for]
Job Requirements
- Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent, with at least 2 years of general accounting experience
- Sense of initiative and responsibility with the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Analytical and meticulous, able to work as a team
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to meet deadlines during month end closing
- Able to work in dynamic environment
- Proficient with MS Office especially Excel
