Peer Support Specialist
Job Description
At Turning Point Community Programs, your lived experience is your strength—whether personal or through supporting a family member. Here, you can make a meaningful impact. We are seeking compassionate individuals who are ready to share their story to support others in recovery while maintaining a strong commitment to ethical standards and professional boundaries. Candidates must hold a High School Diploma or GED and have experience in a relevant focus area (e.g., substance use, mental health, or justice involvement). In alignment with CalMHSA requirements, candidates must complete CalMHSA’s 80-hour training in 17 peer core competencies and pursue Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialist certification, which includes passing a state-approved exam. We look forward to your application.
