Network Provider Management Manager (1-year contract)
Job Description
Responsible for building and maintaining relationships with medical providers across Hong Kong, Macau, and Mainland China, and for managing the full provider contracting lifecycle
The role works closely with internal stakeholders, including Claims, Business Development, CS, Policy servicing, Legal, and others to ensure a competitive, compliant, and high-quality provider network
Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities Build and maintain strong relationships within the medical profession community
Recruit new providers and manage end-to-end contracting activities, including fee negotiation, cost containment, quality review, and clinic accreditation in line with selection and credentialing requirements
Negotiate and conclude provider agreements within the authority approved by the Manager
Reinforce provider compliance with contractual terms and conditions
Handle the full contract lifecycle (new, renewal, extension, termination) in accordance with company policy, verify supporting documents and required information and maintain accurate records in the designated company system
Deliver training, consolidate feedback, and provide enquiry support relating to provider agreements
Review and monitor provider performance against cost control, quality, and administrative standards, recommend termination of underperforming providers to the Manager for final approval
Leverage historical and benchmark data to ensure competitive pricing across the provider network
Monitor market trends and competitor networks to identify expansion and improvement opportunities
Prepare regular management reports and network analytics to support decision-making
Work closely with the Claims team and other internal stakeholders to drive operational efficiency
Cross Border Scope Manage provider relationships and contracting across Hong Kong, Macau, and Mainland China
Navigate regional differences in negotiation practices, credentialing standards, and regulatory requirements
Wellness & Preventive Care (Network Expansion) Source and onboard wellness and preventive-care providers (e.g. health screening, physiotherapy, TCM, dental, and mental health) to broaden the network beyond acute medical services
Develop partnerships supporting wellness and member-engagement initiatives, in collaboration with Sales and Product teams
Negotiate preferential rates and service packages for wellness offerings, ensuring alignment with cost-control and quality standards
Qualifications: Degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. healthcare administration, business, or nursing/allied health)
At least 5 years of solid experience in medical provider network management, health & medical insurance, or a related healthcare/insurance field
Strong negotiation, relationship-management, and analytical skills
Sound knowledge of medical provider operations and healthcare cost management
Fluent in English and Cantonese; proficiency in Mandarin is a strong advantage given cross-border responsibilities
Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to manage multiple stakeholders independently
Proficient in MS Office and relevant company/network management systems
