Materials Utility Associate
Materials Utility Associate
1st shift – Troy
As a Materials Utility Associate, you will play a crucial role in managing our inventory and supplier relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Order all packaging materials – boxes, bags, skids, etc.
- Manage end of month inventory.
- Communicate effectively and efficiently with external suppliers and customers.
- Manage Bin audits.
- Complete cycle counts.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must be a current Crown employee.
- Crown Aerial Lift Certificate.
- Crown Tow Motor Certificate preferred.
- Possess excellent verbal/written communication skills and respect for others.
- Able to perform basic math.
- Ability to work and maintain composure in stressful situations.
- Able to communicate clearly and confidently verbally and in writing.
- Demonstrate sufficient computer skills (Microsoft Office, Excel experience a must).
- Flexibility to provide coverage when needed.
- Ability to work weekends as needed.
- Involves standing/walking 8-10 hours a day.
- Ability to lift 30 lbs. occasionally.
- Involves stooping/bending & reaching frequently (floor/waist/shoulder).
