Principal UI Software Engineer  (AI and Time Series Data Specialist)

As a Principal Software Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the development, and implementation of complex, high-quality software solutions with embedded AI with large volumes of Timeseries Data.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of robust and scalable applications. Your expertise will be crucial in guiding the technical direction of projects and mentoring junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of complex software systems in the area of AI and Timeseries Data.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define detailed project requirements and deliverables.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to software engineering teams on AI and Timeseries Practices.
• Ensure the quality and performance of software through code reviews, testing, and best practices.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in AI and large volume timeseries data to drive innovation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.

Role Summary

We are seeking a high-calibre Software Engineer with strong frontend engineering expertise in Angular to help build modern, high-performance user interfaces for data-intensive enterprise applications. This role is primarily focused on designing and developing sophisticated web UI solutions in Angular, with supporting backend development in C# /.NET.

The ideal candidate will be an expert in building scalable, maintainable, and highly interactive frontend applications, with deep knowledge of Angular architecture, component design, state management, performance optimisation, and enterprise UI patterns, capable of delivering polished, production-grade user experiences.

Experience in AI-enabled products and time-series/data-driven platforms is beneficial.

Key Responsibilities

Frontend / UI Engineering (Primary Focus)

• Design, develop, and maintain advanced Angular applications for enterprise-scale products.
• Build responsive, intuitive, and high-performing user interfaces for complex workflows and data-heavy applications.
• Translate product, UX, and technical requirements into clean, reusable, and maintainable frontend architecture.
• Develop modular Angular components, services, and shared libraries with strong separation of concerns.
• Implement sophisticated UI behaviour including dynamic layouts, real-time updates, visualisations, dashboards, and complex data interaction patterns.
• Optimise frontend performance, load times, rendering efficiency, and runtime responsiveness.
• Ensure high standards of accessibility, usability, consistency, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Contribute to frontend architectural decisions, coding standards, and engineering best practices.
• Work closely with product managers, UX designers, and backend engineers to deliver end-to-end capabilities.
• Lead or influence UI modernization efforts and promote engineering excellence in frontend development.

Backend Engineering

• Develop and maintain backend required services and APIs using C# / .NET.
• Support frontend requirements through well-designed service integrations and API contracts.
• Contribute to application logic, data access layers, service orchestration, and integration components.
• Collaborate on system design to ensure clean interaction between frontend and backend layers.
• Participate in debugging, troubleshooting, and improving full-stack application performance.

Domain Context (AI / Time-Series)

• Work on applications where AI-driven functionality and time-series or data-intensive workflows may be part of the broader solution landscape.
• Collaborate with domain experts and platform teams to integrate data-driven or analytical capabilities into the user experience.
• Develop UI and application features that support data exploration, monitoring, operational workflows, or intelligent insights.
• Gain familiarity with AI and time-series concepts as needed for product delivery; deep prior specialisation is not essential.
