Job Description
Guest Service Driver
Overview:
To transport guests to surrounding areas in Amelia Island, and any other destination within the parameters of the Guest Service Department.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for transporting guests and VIPs.
Responsible for picking up and dropping off guests from the hotel and nearby locations.
Coordinates hotel vehicle activity with Valet Captains, and Concierge team.
Notifies the Front Desk and Guest Services of VIP arrivals whenever possible.
Assist guests with luggage when necessary.
Have knowledge of hotel and outlets hours of operation. Be able to answer guest questions and present a cheerful, knowledgeable, and professional image.
Ensures cleanliness of Guest Service vehicle.
Reports any maintenance problems with hotel vehicles.
Transports guests to destinations while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
Loads and unloads guest’s luggage, and ensures guests receive the correct luggage. Must have the ability to lift approximately 50lbs. above the waist.
When necessary, assists with other Guest Service duties such as, delivery of items to guest rooms i.e., luggage, faxes, letters, packages, etc.
Perform any and all other duties assigned and/or required by management

Bell stand luggage carts, hand truck
Working Environment:
Exterior and interior of hotel with exposure to weather conditions.
