Tuttle‑Click Capistrano Ford is seeking an Automotive Quick / Express Lane Technician to support our high-volume service department. This role is ideal for entry-level to mid-level technicians who want steady work, professional training, and room to grow within a respected Ford dealership.

Automotive Quick/Express Lane Technician Ford Job Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance services including oil changes, tire rotations, and multi-point inspections
• Check and replace filters, fluids, bulbs, batteries, and wiper blades
• Conduct basic vehicle inspections and clearly document findings
• Communicate needed repairs to service advisors accurately and professionally
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Follow all dealership processes, manufacturer standards, and safety guidelines
• Support shop flow and efficiency in a fast-paced Express Lane environment

 

 

Automotive Quick/Express Lane Technician Ford Benefits & Compensation

Compensation: The Quick/Express Lane Technician Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges.

• Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of between $18.00 and $29.00.
• The position may also pay a product on bonus based on individual or team performance that may range from $0.00 (if baseline benchmarks are not met) without any fixed upper limit. 
• This position may also pay a retention bonus of $0.75 per every booked hour.

Automotive Quick/Express Lane Technician Ford Qualifications

• Specializing in Alignment and Tire Installation
• Previous automotive or lube technician experience preferred, but not required
• ASE certifications a plus
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality standards
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• Ability to stand, lift, and work on your feet for extended periods

Corporate Hiring Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age and able to pass a background check and drug screening.
