Physical Education Teacher Preschool (Age 3) through 8th Grade Primary Function. The Physical Education teacher is responsible for fostering the physical, social, and emotional development of students from preschool through 8th grade. Through age-appropriate instruction, the PE teacher creates a safe, inclusive, and energetic learning environment that promotes lifelong health, wellness, and a love of movement.
