Job Description
About Team:
Amazon's IT Services (ITS) Logistics & Imaging Support team delivers highly-available IT support for Amazon employees worldwide. Our scope spans IT Hub management, hardware Imaging, Refurbishments, Servicing, Data Destruction, Disposal, Warehousing, and Fulfillment. We are the engine that powers Day 1 hardware deployment for Amazonians, manages critical IT infrastructure, and keeps AV equipment running across all sites.
Role Overview
We are looking for a bright, motivated, and results-driven IT Logistics Manager to lead end-to-end warehouse and logistics operations across India. This is a high-accountability leadership role at the intersection of IT asset management, supply-chain operations, and people leadership. The successful candidate will set operational standards, grow a high-performing team, and partner closely with Procurement, Engineering, and regional Logistics leaders to ensure every Amazonian has the right equipment at the right time.
Key job responsibilities
• Own end-to-end warehouse operations: receiving, storage, fulfillment, shipping, and returns of IT fixed assets and consumables.
• Maintain a secure, well-organized warehouse environment; establish and enforce security protocols for sensitive IT equipment.
• Control inventory levels through regular physical counts, cycle counts, and reconciliation against inventory management systems.
• Plan and implement warehouse layout improvements; coordinate equipment maintenance, repair, and replacement.
• Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local warehousing, Health & Safety, and hazardous-goods regulations.
• Manage import/export requirements for India and in-country distribution processes, coordinating with Customs and Freight partners.
• Oversee the full IT hardware lifecycle: Imaging, Refurbishment, Servicing, Data Destruction, Disposal, and Fulfillment.
• Manage Day 1 hardware deployment for new Amazonian on-boarding across India locations.
• Maintain accountability and chain-of-custody for all IT fixed assets within the warehouse.
• Partner with IT Engineering teams to address hardware support issues and implement usability improvements.
• Coach, counsel, and develop team members; conduct regular performance appraisals and create individual growth plans.
• Define team goals and KPIs; monitor performance against targets and take corrective action where required.
• Cultivate a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement across all levels of the team.
• Drive continuous process improvement initiatives using data, lean techniques, and customer feedback.
• Work cross-functionally with Legal, Finance, Procurement, and Site Leadership to execute on shared operational objectives.
• Maintain consistently high customer-satisfaction scores across all India sites, regardless of location or employee tier.
