How you might spend your days:
- Overseeing day-of-study activities; supporting efficient and high-quality study execution
- Collaborating with study leads, scientists, and cross-functional teammates, ensuring alignment on study protocols, animal welfare considerations, and animal macro- and micro-environment requirements of in vivo studies
- Providing technical support, troubleshooting, and problem-solving solutions, while identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing best practices to optimize workflow efficiency
- Contributing to the preparation of Animal Use Protocols (AUPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to comply with CCAC Regulations and Guidelines
- Ensuring accurate recording of in vivo data across all studies, and supporting teammates with data analysis as required
- Training and mentoring team members to ensure compliance with safety policies, SOPs, and regulatory requirements
- Performing in vitro, in vivo, and ex vivo techniques to support study objectives, applying deep technical expertise in in vivo procedures
We'd love to hear from you if:
- You provide the highest level of animal care while overseeing and performing in vivo activities
- You have 6+ years of experience in an in vivo research environment, with a minimum of 3 years in an industry setting; MSc considered an asset
- You are experienced with animal handling, dosing (IV, IP, SC, PO), blood collection, and anesthesia, and have a strong understanding of the 3Rs and research ethics
- You have excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills, and are known for your accountability and reliability
- Managing competing priorities comes with ease for you, and you thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced work environment
- You take pride in being a self-motivated person, fast learner, team player, and creative problem solver
- You are able to lift up to 25 kg, and are comfortable with long periods of standing and bending throughout your day
- You are able to work on weekend days, as necessary, to meet in vivo study objectives

Today, our pipeline includes two drug candidates in clinical development, two preclinical development candidates (DCs) in Investigational New Drug (IND)-enabling activities, and more than 20 active discovery programs across multiple modalities and indications.
We believe that when tenacious people share a vision and work together, they can truly have a positive impact. That’s why we hire for character and intelligence, not just for CVs or experience.
We look for people with drive and energy. People we trust. People who need to know their days are being well spent. That their work really matters. In the end, our success will be measured by the impact of our medicines.
