Job Description:
Pitney Bowes is hiring a Technical Services Supervisor, 1st Shift at our Charlotte, North Carolina Presort Services facility.
Your schedule will be Monday through Friday from 8:00AM – 5:00PM with the possibility of occasional weekend work. You need to be flexible and available based off of the business needs.
The salary range for this position is $78000 - $98000 per year, with the actual pay dependent on your skills and experience as they relate to the job requirements and the location where you will be performing the job. This position is eligible to earn an annual incentive bonus. As part of our commitment to a flexible work schedule, this role does not have a set amount of vacation per year.
As a Technical Services Supervisor at Pitney Bowes, you will work under the supervision of the site General Manager and will be responsible for managing a team of technicians and technical support resources to ensure all processes and procedures are followed and equipment is properly maintained.

You Will:
- Participate in team member recruitment, professional development, defining training requirements, and managing time and attendance of technician staff.
- Establish and continuously improve communications between operations, technical service team, and all other stakeholders to ensure team meets operational expectations.
- Work with the onsite facility personnel to schedule necessary resources to support workload, track performance and provide feedback.
- Establish and maintain a strong presence across multiple shifts to monitor deliverables and ensure proper job performance by team members.
- Address any mechanical or electrical issues that arise and take proper action to diagnose and/or fix the problem.
- Be responsible for following OSHA and other standard safety guidelines, conducting business as outlined by company policy, and using personal integrity to accomplish goals.
- Ensure tracking all machine downtime, scheduling, and documenting Preventative Maintenance, maintaining inventory of spares parts, and assisting operations management to achieve profit and loss goals, safety standards, performance goals, and customer service standards.
Your Background:
- A minimum of 6 years’ proven managerial experience in an industrial maintenance production environment directing teams is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years’ mechanical/electrical maintenance experience in Preventative Maintenance, installation, troubleshooting, and repair of complex industrial equipment preferred.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and ability to develop pertinent procedures.
- Knowledge of automated CMMS maintenance software or similar programs
- Ability to fully understand and interpret blueprints, schematics, designs.
- Technical certificate, minimum of Associate degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Mechanical or related field preferred
- Possess strong organizational, collaboration, and communication skills with the ability to take initiative to complete complex tasks and projects quickly and autonomously.
- Mastery of the Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word & PowerPoint to drive communication to internal & external stakeholders.
