The Opportunity
Are you a passionate and experienced Senior Sous Chef ready for your next exciting challenge? We are seeking a dedicated and driven professional to join our dynamic team at Peppina.
As a Senior Sous Chef, you will showcase your culinary expertise through hands-on leadership, guiding the kitchen team while supporting the overall management of all food-related operations. You will play a pivotal role in enhancing both guest and team experiences, ensuring the highest standards of quality, consistency, and creativity, while contributing to strong financial performance across the kitchen.
Key Accountabilities:
- Support the oversight of all kitchen operations, ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality culinary offerings
- Establish and uphold culinary standards to drive excellence across all areas of the kitchen
- Maintain exceptional food quality and service standards, contributing to an elevated guest experience
- Mentor, coach, and develop the kitchen team, fostering a positive and high-performing environment
- Oversee food preparation across all outlets, including banquets, in-room dining, Mary Mary Bar, and Deco Lounge

Collaborate with and support stewarding and purchasing functions to ensure smooth and efficient operations
Profile
- Previous experience as a Senior Sous Chef and a Chef trade qualification.
- Demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate a team, leading by example.
- Strong relationships with producers, ensuring quality sourced produce.
- Impeccable attention to detail in all aspects of your work.
- Willingness to take initiative and make sound business decisions.
- A genuine passion for cooking and a strong customer service focus.
- Current knowledge of culinary trends and industry best practices with a growth mindset.
- Determination and reliability, with availability to work late nights and weekends as required.
