Overview: The Analytics Manager is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing and driving complex data analysis, deriving strategic insights, and contributing to high-impact recommendations. This role combines advanced analytical expertise with strong practical problem-solving skills, often leading significant projects or workstreams and guiding analytical best practices within the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Data Analysis: Lead the design, execution, and oversight of complex data analyses to solve critical business problems and identify strategic opportunities.
- Advanced Insight Generation: Drive the translation of intricate data findings into clear, concise, and actionable strategic insights for senior stakeholders, proactively identifying key trends and opportunities.
- Reporting & Visualization Leadership: Oversee the development, maintenance, and improvement of dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using BI tools to monitor KPIs and inform strategic decisions.
- Stakeholder Partnership: Lead collaborative efforts with various channel teams and business units to deeply understand their analytical needs and deliver impactful, tailored solutions.
- Methodology & Innovation: Drive continuous research, evaluation, and implementation of new analytical techniques, tools, and methodologies to significantly enhance data-driven decision-making capabilities across the organization.
- Data Governance & Quality: Ensure robust data compilation, validation, QA, and standardization processes are in place and adhered to.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in an analytics role.
- Experience in media analytics is a plus (prior platform management experience not required).
- Prior experience managing teams or direct reports is not required.
- Any Automotive industry experience would be a significant plus.
- Strong proficiency in SQL.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau - preferred, Power BI, or similar).
- Datorama – a plus.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical thinking, robust problem-solving abilities, excellent attention to detail, strong concentration, excellent written and verbal communication, and the ability to present complex information clearly to non-technical audiences.
