Certified Dental Assistant Level II

Toronto Smile Centre is looking for a Certified Dental Assistant Level II who is passionate about patient care, enjoys working alongside an experienced clinical team, and is looking to grow with a modern, patient-focused practice.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a thriving clinic that is continuing to grow. We are currently hiring for a part-time position with the opportunity to transition into full-time as our patient base continues to expand.
Saturday availability is required.

Position Details
Part-Time with opportunity to become Full-Time
Location: Toronto, ON
Saturday availability is mandatory
Additional weekday shifts available based on clinic needs
Compensation: $27.00 – $32.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
What You'll Be Doing
As a Certified Dental Assistant Level II, you'll play an essential role in delivering an exceptional patient experience by:
Assisting the dentist during a wide range of clinical procedures
Preparing treatment rooms and ensuring operatories are fully stocked and organized
Sterilizing instruments and maintaining IPAC standards
Taking digital radiographs in accordance with HARP certification
Providing patients with pre- and post-operative instructions
Supporting procedures such as restorative dentistry, extractions, implants, endodontics, cosmetic dentistry, and more
Maintaining accurate clinical records and charting
Collaborating with the administrative team to ensure a seamless patient experience
Contributing to a positive, professional, and patient-focused clinic culture
What You Bring
Certified Dental Assistant Level II designation
Current HARP Certification
Current CPR Certification
Previous dental assisting experience (preferred)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a busy environment
A positive attitude and genuine passion for patient care
Ability to work independently while thriving as part of a collaborative team
Nice to Have
Experience with digital radiography and intraoral scanning
Knowledge of dental software (AbleDent experience is considered an asset)
IPAC and WHMIS training
