Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the Maintenance team. Each day, you will conduct activities according to agreed maintenance guidelines and procedures. You will also showcase your expertise by increasing the overall efficiency of the equipment and production line.

The work model for the role is: onsite


You will be mainly accountable for:
  • Responding to emergencies/breakdowns.
  • Setting calibration and adjusting equipment, machinery, and instruments to comply with production specifications and instructions.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems, machinery, and production equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
  • Install, repair, and replace electrical components such as motors, sensors, drives, switches, relays, circuit breakers, and control panels.
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and automation schematics.
  • Carry out electrical testing, calibration, and commissioning activities to ensure equipment performance and compliance with specifications.
  • Support troubleshooting activities on PLC-controlled systems and industrial automation equipment.
    Collaborate with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability.
  • Report recurring equipment issues and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications for the role
  • Technical diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automation or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of the English language.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and standard computer applications.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
  • Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills on electrical and automation systems.
  • Knowledge of industrial electrical systems, motors, inverters, sensors, and PLC fundamentals.
  • Familiarity with electrical safety regulations and lockout/tagout procedures.
  • Strong commitment, reliability, problem-solving attitude, and willingness to learn.
  • Availability to work night shifts, weekends, and on a continuous shift schedule if required.
  • Previous experience in an industrial manufacturing environment is considered an advantage.

  • Applicable CBA: Metalmeccanico
  • Company defined package above minimum annual salary per CBA
  • Variable Pay: Eligible for Company Productivity Bonus
