Part-Time Household Manager & Child Caregiver – Washington, DC

A family in Washington, DC 20011 is seeking a proactive, organized, and dependable Household Manager & Caregiver to help support a busy household with two children, ages 3 and 6. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can independently manage household operations while providing engaging, age-appropriate care and support for the children.

Schedule:

• Minimum 20 guaranteed hours per week; Flexible schedule based on family needs
• Consistent support needed during two after-school/evening shifts each week (Monday/Tuesday 3:30 PM-9:00 PM)

• Two children, ages 3 and 6

Responsibilities:

• Manage household logistics and organization
• Coordinate vendors, service appointments, and home maintenance needs
• Assist with household administrative tasks and scheduling
• Support after-school routines, activities, meal preparation, and evening transitions
• Engage children in age-appropriate play and developmental activities
• Maintain organized household systems and caregiving-related tasks

Requirements:

• Previous household management, family assistant, or similar experience
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently
• Reliable, professional, and detail-oriented

Preferred:

• Background in Early Childhood Education
• Spanish language proficiency

Compensation:

• $35–$38 per hour (commensurate with experience)
