THE TEAM
The mission of the Finance, Legal and Risk Technology Department is to design, build, deliver, and operate scalable technology solutions that align with the strategic objectives of our Finance, Legal, and Risk functions at Aritzia.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Aritzia is growing and our Finance, Legal and Risk Technology team is growing with it. This is a unique opportunity to be part of the team responsible for designing, implementing, and continuously improving Finance technology solutions — with a direct hand in shaping Aritzia’s transformation from SAP ECC to S/4HANA. You will support with turning business requirements into solutions, acting as the liaison between Technology and Aritzia’s Finance department, while playing a crucial role in creating requirements documentation, testing, deployment, and ongoing service delivery of foundational enterprise technologies. You will serve as a senior subject-matter expert and trusted advisor to Finance and Technology leadership, owning end-to-end solution design, driving cross-functional alignment, and mentoring junior analysts. You will bring deep SAP functional expertise and broad retail financial systems experience to architect scalable solutions, lead complex initiatives, and ensure our technology investments deliver measurable business value. THE ROLE
As the Senior Solution Systems Analyst, Finance Technology, you will:
Lead the identification, evaluation, and delivery of innovative technology solutions that meet current and future business needs across Finance, with a focus on SAP S/4HANA transformation.
Own the translation of complex business requirements into scalable, user-centric technology designs, ensuring alignment with Aritzia's enterprise architecture and retail operating model.
Architect solution designs that integrate seamlessly with existing systems and infrastructure, proactively identifying risks, dependencies, and optimization opportunities.
Drive structured testing strategies — including integration, regression, and user-acceptance testing — to ensure functionality, data integrity, and deficiency resolution.
Oversee the smooth and efficient deployment of Finance technology solutions, including cutover planning, change management support, and post-go-live stabilization.
Provide expert-level proactive and reactive support for Finance technology solutions, establishing best practices for incident resolution, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
Mentor and guide junior analysts and cross-functional team members, elevating the team's technical capability and promoting knowledge transfer.
Serve as a key liaison between Finance stakeholders, Technology teams, and external implementation partners, ensuring clear communication and alignment on priorities, timelines, and outcomes.
Contribute to strategic roadmap planning for Finance technology, advising leadership on emerging SAP capabilities, industry trends, and opportunities to drive operational excellence.
THE QUALIFICATIONS
The Senior Solution Systems Analyst, Finance Technology has:
Proven skills, certifications, education and/or experience
7+ years of progressive experience in SAP functional consulting or solution analysis, with a strong focus on Finance modules
Deep, hands-on experience with SAP FICO (FI, CO, and related sub-modules) within SAP ECC, with proven experience in at least one full-lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementation or migration
Demonstrated ability to lead configuration, customization, and optimization of SAP solutions to meet complex financial requirements in a retail or consumer-facing environment
Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA Finance (Central Finance, Universal Journal, Asset Accounting, etc.) and the functional/technical changes from ECC to S/4HANA
Experience with SAP integration technologies (IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, CPI/PI) and data migration strategies (LTMC, BODS, or equivalent)
Relevant SAP certifications (e.g., SAP S/4HANA Finance, SAP FICO)
Hands-on experience with two or more of the following platforms: Blackline, Ariba, Concur, OneStream, Vertex, or similar finance technology solutions
Proven ability to design and deliver integrated, end-to-end financial processes across multiple platforms in a retail or high-volume transactional environment
Familiarity with retail-specific financial processes such as merchandise accounting, inventory valuation, revenue recognition, lease accounting, and multi-entity consolidation
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to best practices in system design, data integrity, and integration
Experience leading or significantly contributing to cross-functional projects in large enterprise environments, including vendor coordination and partner management
Ability to produce clear, comprehensive documentation: functional specifications, process flows, test scripts, and solution design documents
Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and staying current with evolving SAP technologies, finance systems trends, and retail industry practices

THE COMPENSATION
At Aritzia, we provide market-leading compensation packages designed to reward impact through our pay-for-performance philosophy.
The range for roles at this level is $100,000 - $300,000 per year. Total compensation may include base, bonus and/or equity depending on the role, which has the potential to be greater than this range.
