Product Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE The engineering group designs, creates and validates the technical engineering specifications necessary to guide our production teams to manufacture quality industry leading homes and components for our customers in accordance with industry practices as well as federal, state, and local requirements. The Product Engineer develops the structural designs and details for Cavco products in accordance with a variety of codes and engineering standards. This role includes testing of new assemblies and evaluation of materials to meet quality, aesthetics, durability, and longevity expectations. He/she Works independently on complex efforts, executing process steps, conducting analysis, problem solving, and delivering recommendations.
