Success Academy Special Education Teacher (2026 - 2027)
This vacancy is to create a pool of candidates for vacancies open during for the SY 2026/2027
The Success Academy is a transition-education program for students ages 18-21 who have an IEP and are pursuing a Maryland High School Certificate of Completion. Students considered for the program have completed at least 4 years in a comprehensive high school, have had work experience and exhibit potential for competitive employment. The program focuses on developing skills for independent living and functional academics and offers students a range of employment opportunities.
Work Year Calendar
- 11-month position (207 days/year), 7 hours per day

Salary
11-month Teacher Pay Scale
Under the Fair Labor and Standards Act this position is exempt from overtime. Actual salary placement will be in accordance with the salary procedures of the Frederick County Public School System.
