In this hands-on role, you’ll help keep our facility and production equipment running safely and efficiently by performing corrective and preventative maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and supporting continuous improvement across the plant.
DUTIES:
- Respond quickly to machine breakdowns and maintenance calls to maximize uptime and minimize production disruptions.
- Perform corrective and preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems throughout the plant.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment, plant infrastructure, motors, lighting, disconnects, and related systems.
- Use tools, welding methods, fabrication equipment, and diagnostic instruments safely and effectively to complete repairs.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records in the CMMS (FIIX) and support housekeeping, 5S, and safety standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and engineering to support projects, continuous improvement, and electrical standards.
- Carry out all assigned work safely, professionally, and in alignment with company policies and lockout/tagout procedures.
ADDITIONAL DESIRABLES:
- Valid 442A and 433A licenses
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar maintenance role
- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
- PLC programming experience is an asset
