Shift:
The regular hours for this position are Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and every other Saturday from 5:00pm to 5:30am. You will receive a 15% shift differential for working on the night shift.Job Description:
The Production Assembler II is responsible for assembling electronic and electro‑mechanical components and subassemblies in a high-precision manufacturing environment. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to follow technical instructions, and proficiency in working with small parts and specialized tools.
The Assembler II supports production goals by executing standard assembly processes, ensuring product quality, and maintaining compliance with documented procedures. They may assist with troubleshooting, process improvements, and training of entry-level assemblers while working in a fast-paced, clean‑room environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform assembly of electronic and electro‑mechanical components using established procedures and work instructions
Assemble small and delicate parts using hand tools, adhesives, fixtures, and mechanical fasteners
Read and follow Bills of Materials (BOMs), assembly drawings, and detailed work instructions
Perform microscope-based assembly work for extended periods, ensuring precision and quality
Support polymer membrane assembly processes including alignment, attachment, and curing under guidance
Operate production equipment and tools according to standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Conduct basic inspection and verification of completed assemblies to ensure adherence to specifications
Document production activities, including work completed, issues identified, and process deviations
Assist with testing activities and basic functional checks of assembled components
Identify and escalate quality issues, material discrepancies, or process concerns to supervisors or engineering
Maintain clean‑room standards, including proper use of PPE and adherence to contamination control requirements
Safely handle chemicals such as solvents and adhesives in accordance with safety guidelines
Support continuous improvement efforts by providing feedback on processes and build challenges
Perform tasks of Assembler I as needed and provide guidance to less experienced team members
Work Environment:
Work is performed in a clean‑room environment requiring continuous use of PPE (smock, hairnet, gloves, etc.)
Frequent microscope use (up to ~70–80% of shift depending on assignment)
Requires reading and completing both written and electronic documentation
May involve repetitive tasks requiring steady manual dexterity and focus
Regularly pushes/pulls 10–15 lbs. and lifts materials up to approximately 6 lbs.

$16.45 - $21.58Pay Range Explained:
This role in Beaverton, Oregon pays between $16.45 and $21.58 per hour, depending on your experience, skills, and background. Pay may vary in other locations.
