- Mentor each student and support their social-emotional growth.
- Build strong, consistent partnerships with parents and guardians.
- Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to campus life or culture.
- Keep student records accurate and organized.
- Invest in your own growth through reflection, feedback, and ongoing professional development.

- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees, music certifications, or a teaching credential is a plus.
- Ability and willingness to teach a wide range of music courses (recording arts, music appreciation, music theory, bass, drums, guitar, keyboard, piano, songwriting, & vocals), following content standards — curriculum and resources provided.
- Experience with the tools and techniques associated with contemporary recording and music production: microphones, digital audio, audio editing, MIDI and virtual instruments, audio effects & processors, synthesis, sampling, and mixing.
- Proficiency with at least two of the three industry standard DAWs — ProTools, Logic, & Ableton Live.
- Experience working with students, including those with learning differences, neurodiversity, accelerated learning needs, and/or mental health challenges.
- Mentoring experience and a passion for social-emotional learning.
- Outgoing, adaptable, and eager to thrive in a dynamic, student-centered environment.
- Skilled with technology, curious about innovation, and open to learning new tools.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- A growth mindset with the flexibility to pivot and problem-solve
