Job Description

Location: Vancouver, BC (Hybrid — 3 days in-office, 2 remote)
Term: Full-time, 4–8 months
Compensation: $20–$25/hour

About Us

We build and scale high-growth e-commerce brands. Our focus is simple: find products people love, create world-class content, and push distribution hard across platforms like TikTok Shop.

We move fast, test aggressively, and care about results. No bloated teams, no busywork — just smart people figuring out what works and doubling down on it.

Role Overview

We're looking for a hands-on TikTok Shop Intern to join our team in Vancouver and play a real role in scaling our presence on one of the fastest-moving channels in e-commerce. This isn't a coffee-runs internship — you'll be in the thick of it from week one, helping run our shop end-to-end: filming and editing short-form content, going live, managing product listings and orders, pulling performance data, and building relationships with creators in our affiliate program.

You don't need a long resume for this one. We're not looking for the most experienced person out there — we're looking for someone with the passion and drive to figure things out, who can run with a goal without needing their hand held. If you live on TikTok, you're hungry to learn how a real e-commerce business operates, and you'd rather be thrown into the deep end than slow-walked through theory, you're going to thrive here. We'll teach you the rest.

What You'll Do

Content & Lives

  • Plan, film, and edit 3–5+ short-form videos per week for our TikTok Shop, from concepting to posting
  • Co-host or solo-host TikTok Live shopping sessions, including setup, scripting, and moderating chat
  • Stay on top of trending sounds, formats, and creators relevant to our category, and turn that into a steady test pipeline
  • Iterate quickly based on what's working — kill what's not, double down on what is

Operations & Analytics

  • Manage product listings: copy, pricing, variants, and stock — keeping it all clean and current
  • Monitor daily orders, fulfillment, returns, and customer messages, flagging issues before they snowball
  • Pull weekly performance reports — GMV, CTR, conversion, content performance, affiliate attribution — and turn the numbers into actual recommendations
  • Research and surface the next wave of viral products in our niche — track trends across TikTok, competitor shops, and tools like Kalodata, and bring forward concrete pitches for what we should be sourcing and selling next
  • Help maintain the content calendar and shoot schedule

Affiliate & Creator Outreach

  • Source and reach out to TikTok creators who fit our audience, manage the inbound pipeline, and onboard them into our affiliate program
  • Ship samples, track creator content, and follow up on performance
  • Build relationships — a lot of this role is being responsive, organized, and genuinely good to work with
  • Create and manage flash sales for affiliate live streams — coordinate timing, pricing, and promo mechanics with creators to drive conversion during their lives

What We're Looking For

  • You genuinely love TikTok. You spend hours on the platform already, you study why videos pop off, and learning the algorithm sounds fun, not like work
  • You actually want to build something. You're interested in brands, e-commerce, and what it takes to grow one from the ground up — not just clocking hours for a line on your résumé
  • You're driven and want to get into the deep end. This role involves spending real money on real campaigns. You're hungry to see how a real business operates, take ownership, and make decisions that actually move the needle
  • Willing to be on camera and willing to learn to edit your own content (CapCut is easy to pick up — we'll help)
  • Organized and detail-oriented — you can juggle a content calendar, an inbox, and a spreadsheet without dropping any of them
  • Solid written communication and comfortable reaching out to creators cold
  • Self-starter mindset — you don't wait to be told what to do, and you flag problems early
  • Eligible to work in Canada and able to commute to our Vancouver office
  • Available full-time for at least 4 months

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience running a TikTok account (personal, side hustle, or for a brand) with results you can point to
  • Familiarity with TikTok Shop Seller Center, Shopify, or similar e-commerce backends
  • Basic Excel or Google Sheets chops (pivot tables, lookups)
  • Spanish is a plus given the TikTok Shop ecosystem
  • Genuine interest in AI, or some background using AI tools — we lean on AI heavily in how we work, and we want someone who's excited to push that further
  • Experience with tools and software like Slack and ClickUp.

What You'll Get

  • Direct mentorship and a front-row seat to building on TikTok Shop while the channel is still in its early innings
  • Real ownership over content, creator relationships, and the numbers behind them
  • A portfolio of content and case studies you can take with you
  • A team that moves fast, ships often, and actually has fun doing it
  • Path to full-time. Strong performance during the internship opens the door to a full-time role on the team
  • Travel. Opportunities to fly down to industry conferences in California and Miami with the team
