The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for safety and quality minded Senior Manufacturing Managers (Level L) to help lead the 767 Fuselage Teams in Everett, Washington.
We are looking for a leader with the mindset of Safety, Quality, Cost, People centric, Delivery and Customer oriented.
Position Responsibilities:
- Manages employees and first-level managers performing activities within multiple manufacturing disciplines.
- Develops and executes integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals and objectives.
- Acquires resources for department activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
- Manages, develops and motivates employees and first-level managers.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 5+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing
- 3+ years of experience in a leadership role leading teams, initiatives and projects to meet business objectives and influence change
- 3+ years of experience in lean processes and initiatives
- Proficient using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 3+ years of experience in coaching, guiding and mentoring teams
- 3+ years of experience in working to lead and develop teams to execute to safety, compliance, quality and cost
- 3+ years of experience working within a cross-functional organizational environment
Shift:
This role is primarily 1st shift; however, there may be additional shift requirements to support program objectives.
