
Aerostat Site Manager
Job Description
General Description
Tyonek is performing operations and sustainment support for the Customs and Border Protection Air and Marine Operations office. The qualified candidate will be able to support and lead the operational aerostat site in a wide variety of differing circumstances.
Duties
- Creates documents using Microsoft Office products.
- Create CDRLs, reviews, and other various contract documents.
- Maintain SharePoint document control.
- Participate in and facilitate meetings with the Government PMO and SETA staff.
- Document all contract related meetings
- Reports directly to the Aerostat Flight Director.
- Manage personnel and schedules according to the site's needs.
- Conduct quarterly counseling session with Jr leaders assigned to the site.
- Enforce of program policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years working in a DoD or Government Agency support field.
- 10+ Aerostat experience is required, 28M preferred.
- 5+ years aerostat lead preferred.
- Must be a US resident and possess a valid US Driver's License
- Successfully completion of Background Investigation with a Favorable Suitability Determination, and issuance of DHS Suitability determination.
- Military experience is preferred.
- Microsoft software experience required.
- Forklift certification preferred.
- Ability to work independently and with a team.
- Ability to adapt to changing technology.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Works in a normal office environment with controlled temperature and lighting conditions
