Job Description
Job Description:
Staff Data Engineer (B2B Identity Platform)
Build what’s next. Shape how it works. See your impact.
You’re not just looking for another data engineering role—you want to own something meaningful, work with modern tech, and see your ideas come to life. This is your chance to help shape a B2B identity platform from the inside out.
We’re building a next-generation identity solution on a strong Snowflake foundation—and you’ll play a key role in defining how it evolves.
What You’ll Do
You’ll take ownership of the identity layer and help drive both architecture and delivery:
- Design and build scalable data pipelines and models using Snowflake
- Shape how B2B identity data (accounts, contacts, signals) is structured and resolved
- Partner with product, engineering, and data teams to turn ideas into reliable solutions
- Contribute to how AI tools are integrated into everyday workflows
- Build and maintain data assets that power real client use cases
- Support onboarding and collaborate directly with client-facing teams
- Mentor other engineers and help elevate team best practices
- Document solutions clearly for both technical and non-technical audiences
What You Bring
You don’t need to check every box—but here’s what will help you succeed:
- Experience building data systems (typically 6+ years)
- Strong Python and SQL skills
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake (data modeling, pipelines, performance)
- Familiarity or interest in B2B data (matching, deduplication, identity resolution)
- Comfort working with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Experience with CI/CD, version control, and Agile workflows
- Thoughtful approach to data quality, governance, and privacy
- Curiosity about how AI can improve engineering workflows
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Why This Role Stands Out
- You’ll own real outcomes – Your decisions directly shape the platform
- You’ll work with modern tools – Snowflake-native, cloud-based, AI-enabled
- You’ll build AND improve – Enhance an existing product while helping create what’s next
- You’ll have visibility – From data modeling to client delivery
- You’ll join a strong team – Experienced peers who value collaboration and quality
If you’re excited to build scalable data systems, solve complex identity challenges, and make a visible impact—you’ll thrive here.
