Your role
As part of the Product Development team, you will be in the heart of the conception of sportwear apparel garments. You will assist the Product Development team in daily activities such as fabric and trims approvals, fittings (product measurements), relationship & communication with external vendors, getting the chance to see the entire development process, from sketch to final garment. The team will need specific support filling in the new database with product details (bill of materials).
Main responsibilities:
The main mission will be to support the Product Development and Design team in the different product development processes:
- Product information filling
- Help in the office organization (shipment documents, packages…)
- Fabric and trims approvals
- Fabric and trims research: gathering by type of fabric, price indication etc.
- Product fittings support: product preparation and measurements etc.
- Follow up the sample reception calendar, communication with external vendors.
Main requirements:
- Educational Background in Master’s degree level study in Design for the Fashion systems, Fashion Business, Management engineering or a related field
- First internship in the apparel industry is a plus
- Strong affinity with the apparel industry, especially sportwear industry is mandatory
- Solid experience with Microsoft software packages
- Excel knowledge essential
- Illustrator knowledge
- English mandatory
