  • Encourage participation by reminding, motivating, and escorting residents to preferred programs; assist with transportation by driving residents to appointments and outings as assigned.
  • Prepare and manage program spaces, supplies, and materials to ensure safety, accessibility, and a welcoming environment; capture photos and videos (per company guidelines) for newsletters, displays, or social media.
  • Collaborate with volunteers, resident-led groups, and community partners; utilize electronic systems for content management, documentation, communication, and reporting.
  • Assist the Director of Wellness Programming with administrative tasks and other duties as assigned while promoting MBK’s core values of Ageless Explorations, Better Together, and Reason for Being in all interactions.
  • Provide backup transportation support, in the absence of a driver, ensuring residents have safe, timely, courteous, and reliable access to essential transportation services for medical appointments, community excursions, and planned programs.
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment for staff, residents, and guests following established safety standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Understand and comply with Federal, State, and local regulations, and company policies and procedures concerning the department, including resident rights.
  • Promote a spirit of teamwork and open communication, in alignment with MBK principles and core values.
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests following established safety standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as consistent with the position and as assigned by the Supervisor, Executive Director, or designee.

  • Must possess the ability to make sound, independent decisions when circumstances warrant and remain calm during stressful or emergency situations.
  • Must possess the ability to always deal tactfully and professionally with personnel, residents, family members, and guests.
  • Must possess strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • Ability and willingness to work independently without direct oversight and supervision.
