We are looking for a Passionate Leader to join our Team as Assistant Housekeeping Manager!
What you will do
Assist in the daily supervision of the Housekeeping and Laundry teams, ensuring guest rooms, public areas, and back‑of‑house spaces consistently meet Four Seasons cleanliness and presentation standards
Support the Housekeeping Manager with team scheduling, recruitment, onboarding, training, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions when required
Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, corridors, and public areas to ensure quality, consistency, and brand standards are upheld
Oversee daily assignments to ensure productivity, quality benchmarks, and guest expectations are consistently met
Conduct daily briefing meetings to communicate key operational information, including arrivals, owner requirements, special requests, and operational challenges
Foster a positive, motivating, and inclusive work environment that encourages high performance and engagement
Address guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally, resolving issues with the highest level of hospitality
Ensure clear communication and follow‑up on guest requests, special requirements, and operational issues
Coordinate closely with Front Office, Engineering, Valet, and off‑site Laundry to ensure seamless daily operations
Maintain strong working relationships with outsourced cleaning partners, ensuring service levels, cleanliness standards, and contractual expectations are met
Uphold all health, safety, and hygiene policies, ensuring compliance with best practices and safe use of equipment and chemicals
Oversee stock control and inventory management, including linens, cleaning supplies, and equipment; ensure accurate ordering and explore new products, suppliers, and industry trends
Demonstrate visible leadership and professionalism when interacting with guests, employees, suppliers, and partners.
What you bring
Previous experience in housekeeping supervision or a senior housekeeping role within the hospitality industry
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, support, and develop a diverse team
Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a positive, approachable, and professional attitude
Proven service experience, with the ability to remain calm and effective under pressure
Strong attention to detail and well‑developed problem‑solving skills
Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and adapt to changing operational demands
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build effective working relationships
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hospitality systems such as Opera, Salesforce, or similar platforms
Fluency in spoken and written Portuguese and English
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
The candidate must hold the required authorization to work in an European country.
