The Position
In this role, you will lead a team of Reward Analysts covering the Compensation area while at the same time you will be actively driving and collaborating on technical improvements and innovation. As a Team Lead in Global Chapter Services, you are part of the PR&R chapter and are leading a global team that covers the following areas:
Technical, system-related activities: Configuration of the Workday Job Catalog, eligibility rules, grades, grade profiles, bonus plans, allowances etc. and active support of our Annual Performance and Compensation round as well as involvement in projects
Executive Compensation: A dedicated role in your team, is collaborating with the Reward Partner for executive compensation for the preparation of compensation proposals for offers as well as related system configuration
Stock: Process support for the Roche Connect program, including requirements gathering and testing of the technical solution, custom object loads and daily monitoring during enrolment period. Audit- and integration-related checks of reports, exception logs and related data maintenance in collaboration with other teams in P&C.

We look for a person who has the ability to motivate, support and coach the team, while at the same time actively work with Technology Product Owners and Reward Partners on our Technology and AI solutions.
The opportunity:
Demonstrate a strong focus on driving future technical enhancements through both direct and matrix leadership of the specialized Technical Reward Analysts and wider project teams, while ensuring high-quality delivery in the Stock and Executive Compensation area through dedicated support and coaching of these specialized colleagues
Building an engaging culture to both attract and retain top talent, coaching team members regarding their individual development, career plan and fostering a growth mindset
Connecting your team members located across multiple locations through regular team meetings, sharing of wider information and ensuring equity in opportunities
Through frequent check-ins, ensuring that ongoing dialog occurs on the topics of Career, Capabilities, Connections and Contributions; and developing the team members’ knowledge, skills, competency, etc. in order to retain and develop talented staff
Understanding and supporting the team in their day-to-day activities related to technology (e.g. Workday Job Catalog configuration), reporting and auditing as well as providing Tier 2 support during the annual review process
Connecting the dots with bigger technology initiatives and strategic projects (including AI) with the drive to push the team out of their comfort zone to improve processes
Being a trusted partner to leaders and partners in the chapters, leading others through complex P&C topics by understanding the philosophies, approaches, global policies and systems-relevant configurations of relevant topics
Developing and managing strong partnerships with key internal organizations and stakeholders as well as external vendors to co-create technology solutions and drive continuous improvements to increase productivity, quality and efficiency locally and globally
Being an escalation point for related topics to your area of responsibility
Who you are:
Proven experiences in the area of Compensation / Compensation technology (e.g. Workday, WTW) in multinational companies (experience with process automation and/or AI is a plus)
Leadership experience either as a matrix leader or people leader (experience leading a geographically dispersed team preferred) demonstrating strong competencies in coaching, influencing, change management skills and demonstrated success in global stakeholder management
Demonstrates customer centricity and end-to-end accountability with proven experience in leading technology delivery management in a shared services / HRIS (or similar) environment
Growth & continuous improvement mindset, coupled with project and stakeholder management skills. Ability to influence and work with key stakeholders to partner in achieving our strategy through our technology.
Demonstrated ability and experience in effectively diagnosing short-term P&C needs, and offering fit for purpose solutions to address them
